KITCHEN REMODEL 

Students had the opportunity to work with a client to help redesign her dining, living, and kitchen area. Students worked in a team to create four potential designs. The client wanted to keep her current kitchen cabinets to help save on costs. In this design, all of the cabinets are kept the same, but the island has been shifted 15 inches to allow for a larger countertop with overhang to provide additional seating. She liked the lighter countertop color, so in this option Cambria's Torquay was selected for it's durability and quality. The backsplash is a white beveled tile to create depth and movement as well as match the quartz countertop. Laminate tile was used for flooring to add a gray color that ties in with the living area and break up the wood tones.
